The company has developed and commercialized the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL® / LAL+®) — the world’s first and only FDA-approved intraocular lens (IOL) that can be customized after cataract surgery.

Surgeons implant the photosensitive lens during standard cataract procedure.
Weeks later, they use the company’s office-based Light Delivery Device (LDD™) to deliver targeted UV light treatments, allowing fine-tuning of the patient’s vision for optimized outcomes (often reducing or eliminating the need for glasses).
